DJI / DRONE PROFILE
DJI Agras T50
Explore the available technical information for this aircraft, including camera capabilities, flight performance and manufacturer-specific specifications.
The DJI Agras T50 is a professional agricultural drone for spraying and spreading. Its coaxial twin-rotor propulsion layout is designed to carry heavier payloads than compact farm drones. It is specialist agricultural equipment, not a camera drone.
Spraying and spreading capacity
DJI specifies a 40 L spray tank and 40 kg spraying payload. The dual-atomizing system uses two sprinklers as standard, with an optional four-sprinkler configuration. DJI lists maximum flow rates of 16 L/min with two sprinklers and 24 L/min with four, plus a 4–11 m effective spray width at 3 m above crops. The spreading system has a 75 L tank and a stated 50 kg internal load; DJI lists an 8 m spread width under its stated conditions.
Radar and vision sensing
Front and rear phased-array radar and a binocular vision system support multidirectional obstacle sensing and terrain following. Detection depends on lighting, obstacle characteristics, speed and environment. These features do not replace pilot supervision or field assessment.
DJI Agras T50 specifications
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Weight including battery | Approx. 52 kg |
| Max takeoff weight, spraying | 92 kg at sea level |
| Max takeoff weight, spreading | 103 kg at sea level |
| Spray tank / payload | 40 L / 40 kg |
| Maximum spray flow | 16 L/min (2 sprinklers); 24 L/min (4) |
| Effective spray width | 4–11 m at 3 m crop height |
| Spreading tank / load | 75 L / 50 kg |
| Spread width | 8 m (manufacturer-stated) |
| Maximum wind resistance | 6 m/s |
T50 compared with the T25
The T50 has twice the stated spray tank volume and spraying payload of the T25. That may reduce refill frequency on larger fields, but the T50 also requires more substantial transport, battery and ground-support planning. Smaller or fragmented plots may favour a more compact aircraft.
Who should consider the T50?
The T50 may suit commercial operators needing higher-capacity spraying or spreading and able to support its batteries, charging, maintenance and training requirements. Confirm local service, spare parts and operating permissions before procurement.
Sources and notes
Specifications are based on DJI’s official Agras T50 technical specifications and product information. Payload and takeoff-weight figures are configuration-specific and stated at sea level where indicated. This is a specification-based review, not a claim of hands-on testing.
How to assess the Agras T50
The T50 should be evaluated as an agricultural application system, not as a camera drone. Separate the spraying configuration from the spreading configuration when comparing payload, tank, flow rate and working width; those figures describe different tasks and are not interchangeable. Real field output depends on crop height, terrain, weather, liquid or granule characteristics, route overlap and operator setup. Before purchase, verify the aircraft version, spray or spread module, batteries, charging equipment, generator and controller included in the package. The manufacturer specifications are planning limits under stated conditions, not a guaranteed hectares-per-hour result. Check local rules for agricultural chemical application and operator licensing.
Who should consider DJI Agras T50?
This platform belongs in a farm-operations decision, not a conventional camera-drone shortlist. The buyer should first define the crop, treatment or spreading material, field size, terrain, daily hectares, water and chemical logistics, and the required application record. Tank volume and maximum flow are only part of the decision: nozzle selection, droplet spectrum, swath, travel speed, canopy, wind and calibration determine whether the system can deliver a consistent result. For DJI Agras T50, validate application settings using the intended crop, material, nozzle or spreader and field layout rather than a generic demonstration.
Limitations and trade-offs to understand
Application figures are not universal field guarantees. Flow rate, effective swath and coverage change with nozzle type, droplet size, liquid properties, crop height, flight speed, altitude and weather. Wind and temperature can affect drift and evaporation. The operator must follow product labels, local pesticide rules, buffer zones and aviation requirements. Do not treat obstacle sensing or terrain following as a substitute for a surveyed field and an emergency plan. For DJI Agras T50, keep an operating log of weather, payload, settings, field area and refill time so that productivity claims can be checked.
Alternatives worth comparing
Compare other agricultural aircraft in the same operating class, such as the DJI Agras T20P, T25P, T40 or T50 where relevant, and consider whether a multispectral mapping platform such as the DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral is a better fit for crop monitoring rather than application. These are different mission types; they are not interchangeable. For DJI Agras T50, confirm the exact agricultural kit and regional support route before buying; aircraft-only specifications do not describe a complete spraying operation.
Pre-purchase and ownership checklist
Ask the supplier for the exact nozzle/spreader configuration, supported materials, calibration procedure, battery cycle expectations, charging plan, service response time and operator training. Request written confirmation of local registration, pilot qualification, agricultural chemical approvals and insurance obligations. Record the test conditions behind any productivity claim. For DJI Agras T50, plan cleaning, battery storage and chemical-handling procedures as part of the ownership cost.
How to use this specification profile
This page is a research-based reference, not a claim that IGIDRONE has independently flight-tested the aircraft. Treat manufacturer maximums as test-condition figures and distinguish standard equipment from optional accessories or regional bundles. Before buying, compare the exact model code, firmware, battery, controller and payload configuration against the current official manual. If a field is marked unknown or is not documented by the manufacturer, do not infer a value from a similarly named variant. For DJI Agras T50, validate application settings using the intended crop, material, nozzle or spreader and field layout rather than a generic demonstration.
Primary manufacturer reference: Open the manufacturer specification or support page. Confirm the current regional documentation before purchase. For DJI Agras T50, keep an operating log of weather, payload, settings, field area and refill time so that productivity claims can be checked.
Editorial update: 8 November 2026. Model availability, prices, software support and regional operating rules can change. Confirm them with the manufacturer, authorised distributor and relevant aviation authority before purchase or flight. For DJI Agras T50, confirm the exact agricultural kit and regional support route before buying; aircraft-only specifications do not describe a complete spraying operation.
